If you’re reading this, you’re probably planning a camping trip to Florida and this time, you want to deviate from the usual primitive campgrounds and simple RV parks. If you’re looking for a luxurious camping experience, complete with all the fancy amenities, then this list of our favorite RV resorts in Florida is just the right one for you.

What is an RV Resort?

A simple RV park or an RV resort? It’s not hard to differentiate between the two if you know what to look for. An RV resort will typically have the following qualities:

-Great location

An RV resort is usually located in one of two surroundings: a) a peaceful place with gorgeous views or b) a safe and convenient location near the town center, close to entertainment, etc.

-Excellently designed and maintained

No matter what region you’re in or whatever theme the resort has, a true RV resort will always look pretty and well-maintained. A well-organized and highly -trained staff makes sure that there would be no unclean or broken facilities.

RV resorts will also be well-lighted, spacious, have plenty of rooms, safe. They are complete with wide roads and concrete pads for your vehicle and have easy-access hookups that are kept in tip-top condition.

-Luxurious Amenities

Luxurious for an RV campground, that is. RV resorts are walled and gated with round the clock security. They also usually have Jacuzzis, heated swimming pools, restaurants, gyms, specialty stores, airconditioned laundry rooms, and even golf courses.

-High Costs

As they say, you get what you pay for. In order to get the best in luxury, you also have to pay the big bucks. While some campgrounds can be free or cost less than 50 bucks a night, one has to fork out at least a $100 or more.
